Data Notice Regarding Covid-19

As you would be aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the way we have to approach our daily interactions and travel.

PM Electronics is structured such that remote working and travel restrictions, while inconvenient, do not cause significant disruption to the delivery of our services to clients, so we are operating a ‘business as usual as far as practical’ approach to the situation in order to minimise the impact.

Considering the recent developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and as part of precautionary measures to avoid further spread/outbreak, PM Electronics are undertaking the following procedures starting from 23rd March:

  • PM Electronics shall implement a ‘Work-From-Home’ policy for its daily operations until further notice.
  • Client and third-party meetings will be re-structured.
  • Staff will not attend events until further notice

PM Electronics is committed to doing its best to deliver services to its clients with the least disruptions possible.

We would request that customers keep using the same communication lines as previously used. We appreciate your continued support and collaboration through these unprecedented times. Please stay safe and follow the Coronavirus advisory guidelines.

Our Commitment to Living Wage

PM Electronics has today accredited as a Living Wage Employer.

Our Living Wage commitment will see everyone working at PM Electronics receive a minimum hourly wage of £9.30 in the UK or £10.75 in London. Both rates are significantly higher than the government minimum for over 25s, which currently stands at £8.21 per hour.

PM Electronics is based in the South East, a region where 15% of all jobs pay less than the real Living Wage – around 572,000 jobs. Despite this, PM Electronics has committed to pay the real Living Wage and deliver a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work.

The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers that wish to ensure their staff earn a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum Since 2011 the Living Wage movement has delivered a pay rise to over 200,000 people and put over £1 billion extra into the pockets of low paid workers.

Katherine Chapman, Director, Living Wage Foundation said: “We’re delighted that PM Electronics has joined the movement of over 6000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on.

“They join thousands of small businesses, as well as household names such as IKEA, Heathrow Airport, Barclays, Chelsea and Everton Football Clubs and many more. Thesebusinesses recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer and they, like PM Electronics, believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay”.
